Chapter 6: Revelations

As the three of them took the short walk back home, none of them had the energy to say anything to each other. They just let a mad man get away with exactly what they were trying to prevent solely because they were too focused on what was pursuing them in the moment when they should have been looking at the bigger picture. To make matters worse, they didn't even know what the wishing rod did, and they'd have to figure it out through trial and error.

Eventually, they'd make it back to their personal quarters, and one of them would finally get the courage to speak up.

Cypress: "So... what now?"

Shep: "Well, i was able to attach a camera to that bronze pest's chest while he was laying on the ground, and from the looks of it, he didn't rip it off when he saw The Wishing Rod getting swiped. I say we try to tune into that thing's feed to see if it can give us any context clues."

Shep would then connect a flash drive into a monitor he had laying on a table, and a feed would start coming through on it. The group would all sit down on a nearby couch to watch the feed that they were able to place on the bronze assassin's unsuspecting chest. What they saw immediatly caught their attention, as they bore witness to a humongous castle with multiple pillars, flags and only one way in. The group all collectively decided to stay completely silent, just incase there was a quiet sound that the feed made that they would have otherwise missed.

The door would open itself to the man's presence, almost as if there was someone else controlling it. They would then see the man walking into what seemed to be a manual elevator that needed hot air to be lifted. Not a problem for the bronze pyromanic, of course, as he would ignite the coal supply just above the lift, letting it rise into the air.

After about a minute of waiting, another door would open, leading to what seemed to be a throne room. The first thing the group would see was a long line of those small silver soldiers kneeling down to make a path through the throne room. That confirmed that the silver men were on this man's side, which was already distressing enough, but the worst of the news was yet to come.

After walking to the end of the room, the group would see a chair spin itself to face a desk. This chair would reveal the face of who was presumably this assassin's master. His skin was grey, he wore a black iron war helmet, a black iron chestplate and had the glare of a serial killer.

???: "Back already? I'd suppose you have a lot to say considering how worn your suit is."

???: "You know i leave nothing on the table, right? I could walk a dog and my armour would be just as scruffy."

???: "So then, tell me how it went... brother."

Shep, Cypress and Jungorou: "HE HAS A BROTHER?"
