START OF ACT 1
Prologue: Who Are You?
Very few people know who the man with the green shades is. He almost never talks to strangers, he's always around his associates that are seven feet taller than him and even when someone does find him out in the wild, he leaves just as quick. Anyone who's fortunate enough to stumble into him has always wondered what happens during his own menial trials and tribulations. However, if they knew the truth, the knowledge they would be burdened with would be heavy enough to break their floor.The man with the green shades is named Jungorou. He used to be called Junichiro, but he changed his identity to keep people from tracking him down after he took up his new job as The Bastion's right hand man. That aformentioned group are hellbent on making sure every aspect of life is preserved behind closed doors with Jungorou being roped in during one of this own artefact hunts when a bounty was placed on his head by a cyborg he double crossed.
Shortly after being apointed into The Bastion, Jungorou was brought along for a mission into a parallel timeline to both stop a planet from being frozen in time and to rescue an unspecified ally that had got themselves caught in the crossfire. Only one of these tasks would be sucessfuly carried out, as even though the straggler was rescued in the nick of time, nothing could be done to stop the planet they occupied from being brought to an unbreakable stand still. Not only that, but Jungorou suffered critical injuries during this expedition and would need to spend the next few weeks in a recovery bed to regain both his prior strength and his focus.
Little did Jungorou know, however, that when he was ready to fight once again, the day he got back up would be the last day off he would ever get.
